CTEVT students’ protests continue

Kathmandu, August 22 :

Students of the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) today organised a signature campaign at various places in the Valley and other parts of the country demanding the implementation of the report that allow the proficiency certificate level (PCL) students of CTEVT to study in bachelor level in universities. The CTEVT central joint students struggle committee said they would submit the signatures collected to the prime minister. The committee will announce further protest programme if their demands are not met by August 24.

Around 10,000 students are studying in 74 educational institutes affiliated to the CTEVT. The students had been demanding that the proficiency certificate level (PCL) students of CTEVT should be given opportunity to do bachelor level in universities.
