Current problems will end soon, says PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Monday has said that the problem facing the country would be resolved soon.

Accepting a joint memorandum from Nepal Revolutionary Youth Association and Nepal Revolutionary Students Association, PM Oli stated that the diplomatic measures were being taken to resolve the problem seen at the border points.

According to the Youth Association Chairman Ukesh Kawan, Oli said, "We do not wish to spoil our relations with India, but will not bow down to any kind of pressure and influence."

The eight-point memo calls upon the government to continue its position against the undeclared blockade imposed by India with more determination, not compromising in Nepal's sovereignty and independence at any cost.

Similarly, the memo also urges to check the black marketing, which has been rampant following the blockade, and take immediate steps to open the transit points with China.
