Dahal govt’s 100 days meaningless: Gyawali

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Secretary Pradeep Gyawali said that the first 100 days completed by the government under the leadership of Prime Minister and CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal were meaningless.

Speaking at an interaction organised at the Reporters’ Club in the Capital on Saturday, leader Gyawali accused the incumbent government of wasting this precious time.

“This government’s 100 days have been wasted,” he said, adding, “Elections are uncertain and this government has not done any remarkable work to hold them.”

Accusing the incumbent government of failing to maintain balanced relations with China, he said, “Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Nepal visit has been foiled.”

Speaking on the occasion, the ruling CPN Maoist Centre leader Agni Prasad Sapkota, however, claimed that this government’s 100 days were successful.

He said that the incumbent government had been taking initiatives to hold elections at all three tiers.
