Democratic alliance believes in rule of law: leader Khand

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) central member Bal Krishna Khand on Saturday said that the democratic alliance is a force that believes in rule of law.

Addressing a gathering of cadres organised by the NC's Youth Mobilization Committee of Bhaktapur constituency no-2 in the district today, leader Khand said that the hollow nationalism based on Mahendra's ideals cannot bring prosperity to the country. He said the alliance was for implementation of the constitution for an equitable society and prosperous nation.

Bhaktapur constituency no-2's House of Representatives candidate from the NC, ex-speaker Damannath Dhungana pledged to work for the historical, cultural and democratic development of Bhaktapur.

Candidate to the provincial assembly from constituency no-2 'A' Angat Khadka announced to set up a youth self-employment fund and always work in the interest of the unemployed youth.
