KATHMANDU: Bimal Dhakal has been elected the Chairperson of Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies.

Dhakal secured 237 votes against 213 of his arch-rival Saroj Kumar Pokharel. He had filed candidacy from the Democratic Foreign Employment Forum.

Among other elected are Kumud Khanal (first Vice-Chairperson), Hari Bahadur Pandey Chhetri (second Chairperson), Muktinath Adhikari (third Chairperson), Rohan Gurung (General Secretary), Rajendra Bhandari (Secretary) and Prateema Maharjan (Treasurer).
