Kathmandu, April 12:

Chairman of Reporters’ Club Nepal Rishi Dhamala was formally released by the District Administration Office Kathmandu here today.

“This is the victory of all Nepali journalists,” commented Dharmendra Jha, president of Federation of Nepali Journalists talking to reporters following Dhamala’s release.

Dhamala was formally released today after languishing in prison for 67 days.

Appellate Court Patan had ordered his release on Friday.

Dhamala has expressed his desire to join politics, produce a movie on state of Nepali jails and write a journal compiling his days behind the bars.
