KATHMANDU: Police arrested a man on charge of hooliganism and extortion from Dhapakhel of Lalitpur district on Saturday.

Metropolitan Police Crime Division, Teku, identified the suspect as 40-year-old Bhola Khadka aka Kanu of Dhapakhel.

Khadka was found to be involved in intimidating and extorting money from individuals and businessmen, the MPCD said today.

According to the MPCD, Khadka was arrested on charge of human trafficking eight years ago.

He has been handed over to the Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur, for further action, the MPCD said.
