Kathmandu, May 8 :

The Home Ministry today transferred DIGs of Police Deepak Thangden and Keshav Baral to the Valley Police Office and the Eastern Regional Police Office. Thangden was working at the Crime Investigation Department of the Police Headquarters and Baral was at the IGP secretariat.

Post of DIG at the Valley Police Office had been lying vacant since Krishna Basnet was promoted to AIGP and the post of DIG at Biratnagar office had not been filled since DIG Ashok retired.
