KATHMANDU:  Dr Govinda KC has warned to sit on hunger strike from March 13 demanding resignation or else impeachment of Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli and implementation of the report submitted by probe panel under former special court chair Gauri Karki.

Dr KC has demanded resignation of CJ Parajuli accusing him of institutionalising corruption in court, disrespecting court and using court for vested interests. Moreover, Dr KC has asked to initiate the process of impeachment and carry out judicial investigation on Parajuli, if he fails to resign within March 13.

Likewise, Dr KC has called for implementation of a report submitted by an investigation commission formed to probe into medical education sector. The former special chair Gauri Karki led commission had recommended actions against 43 individuals accusing them of being involved in morally questionable activities, which degraded the quality of medical education.
