KATHMANDU: A person died after he was rammed by his own jeep at Metro Plaza parking in Khichapokhari, Kathmandu on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Binod Dangol (30) of Imadol, in Lalitpur district, according to police.

The incident occurred when Dangol parked his jeep (Ba 7 Cha 2413), then started to leave when suddenly the four wheeler rolled back and hit him yesterday afternoon, according to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD).

Dangol was rushed to the Maharajgunj-based TU Teaching Hospital where he breathed his last during the course of treatment last night, said police.

The investigation into the case is underway, said police.
