KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested two drug peddlers from Sitapaila of Kathmandu on Sunday.

The arrestees have been identified as Sujan Manandhar (30) from Sitapaila and Krishna Tamang (37) from Kalikatar of Makawanpur district.

Acting on a tip-off, the Metropolitan Police Circle Swayambhu had deployed a team in civvies to nab the suspects.

Police also seized some controlled drugs from their possession.

Further investigation is underway.
