KATHMANDU: Two persons were arrested red-handed while selling petrol at a rate higher than the market prince from Sinamangal of Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Som Bahadur Shrestha (33) from Jyalu-5 of Ramechhap district and Rajan Khadka (32) from Bayarban of Morang were held with 2,000 litre petrol and 70 litre kerosene.

They were selling petrol at Rs 250 per litre from the CG Guest House premises at Shambhu Marga of Sinamangal, KMC-9.

Further investigation is underway.
