KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons in possession of a pistol and its magazine from Pandubazaar of Bhaktapur on Sunday.

Acting on a tip-off, a team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur, nabbed Ishwar Chaugudhi (27) of Bhaktapur Municipality-16 and Sulabh Joshi (21) of Dudhpati of the district yesterday.

Police seized a pistol and one of its magazines from them.

Further investigation is underway.
