KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested eight persons on the charge of gambling from Tokha Municipality-6 of Kathmandu district.

Police raided the house belonging to Suman Kunwar and arrested local Basanta Kumar Pandey (60) and seven others red-handed and seized Rs 47,350 cash from the gambling site.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
