KATHMANDU: The Local Authorities Employees’ Association on Tuesday submitted a letter of memorandum to Ministry of Local Development demanding health service facilities to the cleaning staff.

Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, the association demanded that employees working in the local authorities should be provided security.

“Those employed in the VDCs should be provided with better salaries and employees working as assistants should also be sent on international tours,” it added.
