The rector of Tribhuvan University, Professor Mahendra Singh, inaugurated an orientation on ‘Studies on environmental laws’ here today.

Speaking at the inauguration, Singh said that environmental pollution is the concern of all sections of society. All the people should have equal access to environmental resources and the benefit should be distributed in equal chunks, said Singh. The environment resources should be exploited in such a manner that future generations would have plenty of it preserved for them, Singh added.

At the programme, organised by the Forum for Justice, Gyanendra Bahdur Shrestha, the forum’s president and Lilamani Pandey, the programme convener stressed on environment protection and highlighted the objectives of the programme. The programme will be held for three days.
