Kathmandu: A woman, who eloped with another man some months ago, was stabbed by her former husband on Friday at Narayansthan-4, Jorpati while on her way home, police said. Gopal Khadka stabbed Sarita Khadka at around 7p.m. She is undergoing treatment at the Teaching Hospital. Search is on to nab Khadka, according to police. — HNS

Housed robbed

Kathmandu: Property worth Rs 0.6 million was stolen from the house of Surya Bahadur Shrestha at Jyatha in Kathmandu on Friday. Shrestha has reported to the police that his caretaker Chhot Bahadur Ale, 22, stole the property in the absence of family members. When they returned, Ghale was not at home.

He has accused Ghale of taking away Rs 228,000 and gold jewellery. — HNS
