KATHMANDU: Police nabbed six persons on Monday involved in extorting money from president of Sita Homes Pvt Ltd Om Singh Gurung. Those arrested are Suprit Thulung, 29, Bijay Shrestha, 19, Akash Man Singh, 21, Tripal Lama, 27, Krishna Lama, 20 and Manu Adhikary, 23. Police seized a sword, an iron rod, two receipts of donation, a used syringe, two motorbikes, recommendation letter of Sitapaila VDC and letter pads of Nawa Jagriti from the culprits. Police had arrested them red handed at around 10:30 am trying to extort money from Gurung. They had extorted Gurung several times threatening him with his life.
