Kathmandu: Film Artist Association of Nepal (FAAN), Kanti Cultural Centre (KCC) and Dil Kumar KC Foundation jointly organized a 3 KM marathon competition where professionals with significant contribution in the film industry, journalism and music industry took part.
During the event Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar and State Minister for Energy and Water resources Deepak Bahadur Singh felicitated distinguished personalities including Basundhara Bhushal , Bhuwan KC, Karishma Manandhar , Dhiren Shakya , Rekha Thapa, Pooja Sharma and Pushpa Khadka under filmstar category whereas Hari Karmacharya from Gloomy Guys band and Late Sunil Bardewa were felicitated under music category.
Further, Rishi Dhamala and Prakash Subedi were felicitated under journalist category. The event was conducted under the leadership of Samir Hamal – Secretary of KCC and the organizers plan to conduct this event on an annual basis.
During the event, Male Winner Dhanu gyangmi magar and Pabitra Acharya and Asmita Jureli from FAAN secured first and second position in women's category and took home cash prize of 50,000 Nepali Rupees along with a trophy and a certificate.
