KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested a man for allegedly swindling unemployed youths with the promise of job in the Nepali Army. A special team of the Metropolitan Police Crime Division apprehended Krishna Bahadur Khatri, 30, of Okhaldhunga from Chitwan. SSP Sarbendra Khanal said Krishna Bahadur used to take unsuspecting persons into confidence posing as a major of the Nepali Army and cheat them with the promise of job in the Nepal Army. Police have also confiscated an NA uniform from him. NA Headquarters had also written to the MPCD to nab the fraudster and take legal action against him.
