KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 1.1 million was gutted in a fire that broke out at a house in Bhardeu of Lalitpur on Tuesday.

Police said the house is owned by Hari Bahadur Shrestha.

Furniture, utensils, and other materials were destroyed in the fire, which was later contained by locals and security personnel.
