Fire breaks out at motor workshop in Bishalnagar

KATHMANDU: A fire that broke out at around 6:00 pm in a motor workshop in Bishalnagar, Kathmandu has been doused.

According to police, the fire apparently broke out due to a malfunction in one of the equipment used in servicing and repair works.

Municipal officials, firefighters and Nepal Police personnel moved promptly into the scene and doused the blaze before it intensified, an eyewitness reported.

No casualties were reported in the incident.

The damage from the blaze is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, the traffic in the surrounding region has been affected.
