Five-day free health camp from tomorrow

Kathmandu, February 8:

Alka Hospital Private Limited is organising a five-day national-level free health camp for the public from February 10.

Addressing a press meet, Vijay Kumar Sharma, managing director of the hospital, said: “We are going to provide all health care facilities to the general public free of cost.”

The hospital has been providing health care since the last one year. “During the health camp, each department will examine and provide health service to a maximum of 100 patients daily,” he said.

Kumar Thapa, founder of the hospital said: “The well-equipped hospital with 100 beds will be formally inaugurated on February 15.”

Thapa said that 10 per cent of the total amount of the hospital’s income would be saved in the name of “Alka Sahayog Kosh” which would be utilised for providing free health care services to the needy. “In the near future the hospital aspires to open a nursing college.”
