The Narcotic Drugs Law Enforcement Unit, New Baneshwor, has arrested five persons on charge of possessing illegal narcotic drugs.

Those apprehended are Charan Thapa (23), Adip Rana (19) and Adarsha Rana (27) of Khumaltar, Lalitpur and Sanjay Kumar Pathak (31) of Kalaiya and Beni Bahadur Gurung (27) of Mahalaxmisthan, Lalitpur.

The police seized 33 grams of heroin from Charan Thapa who was arrested from Koteshwor. Police seized 21 grams of heroin from Adip and Adarsha Rana who were nabbed from Kalanki.

Likewise, 12 grams of heroin was seized from Beni Bahadur Gurung who was arrested from Koteshwor.
