Five persons arrested with leopard hide

KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Beureau of Nepal Police on Wednesday arrested five persons including a teenager in possession of a leopard hide, from Swayambhu, KMC-15.

Police identified four of the suspects as Ranjit Putuwar aka Bhupendra (23) of Ichangunarayan of Kathmandu, Bir Bahadur Tamang of Dahachok on the western outskirts of Kathmandu Valley, Dinesh Devkota (20) of Aanppipal-2 in Gorkha district and Saroj Tamang aka Kailash of Sisanka VDC-9 in Sindhupalchok district.

Meanwhile, the suspects have been sent to the Kathmandu Distict Forest Office for further investigation and action, informed the CIB.
