KATHMANDU: A fire broke out at Rishi Dhamla, the chairman of Reporters Club, three-storey house in Ranibari of Kathmandu on Sunday morning.

It has been learned that the fire broke out due to electric short circuit. According to preliminary information, property worth around Rs 1 million was destroyed in the fire.

The fire was doused with the help of local people, fire brigade and police.
