KATHMANDU, APRIL 25
Fly Dubai's Country Manger for Nepal and Airport Manager have been barred from entering the premises of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) took to it's official social media handles to confirm the same. According to CAAN, the said Fly Dubai staffers have been barred entry in TIA while their airport passes too have been revoked.
The now-barred Fly Dubai employees had allegedly spread false information about the Fly Dubai flight no. FDZ576 (B737-800) encountering a bird strike. The flight was enroute to Dubai from Kathmandu yesterday.
The Fly Dubai flight had witnessed a technical glitch in one of its engines immediately after it took off from TIA.
"Captain had reported a technical problem in its engine at around 9:25pm," a source at TIA said.

Following the report of the issue, on Monday evening CAAN had informed that the flight was normal and had proceeded to her destination as per the flight plan.
