FNJ seeks media sincerity
KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), the umbrella organisation of mediapersons, has called on the journalists and media houses to act more responsibly to uphold the democratic norms and values.
The Federation of Nepali Journalists has also stressed the need for communicating to the people in the backdrop of unfolding political situations in the country.
Issuing a statement on Tuesday, Federation of Nepali Journalists also expressed its concern about the growing distrust among the political partners of Jana Andolan II.
“Growing mistrust and widening gap among the political parties are the major causes of the latest
political impasse. We would like to urge them to rise above the party interest and to break the political deadlock forging consensus at the earliest,” read the statement.
