Kathmandu, February 11:

The Kathmandu District Court (KDC) today urged government authorities to follow court orders on time and thus help in providing speedy justice. The KDC urged the District Administration Office, District Police Office and District Prison to work to fulfil the spirit of the recently implemented first five-year strategic plan of the judiciary. The plan stressed the need to provide timely justice.

KDC judge Om Prakash Mishra urged the chiefs of these bodies to provide support by following the orders on time. “Follow court orders on time or forward genuine ground before the court while demanding documents and other support from the authorities,” the court urged them. Kathmandu CDO Baman Prasad Neupane, Valley Police Chief Indra Neupane, and District Prison Officer Bhola Prasad Siwakoti, were present at the meeting. “All assured to help the court in providing timely justice” said the KDC registrar, Balabhadra Banstola.
