KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested four persons who allegedly attacked Pramod Lohani (24) of Syangja with bricks on his head and injured him at Chucchepati of Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The assailants are identified as 32-year-old Raju Lama, 30-year-old Kumar Tamang and 32-year-old Suresh Tamang of Makawanpur, and 36-year-old Bijay Lama of Sindhupalchok.

All of them are currently residing in different places in Kathmandu.

According to police, the foursome had attacked Lohani after he came outside the Ace Development Bank after depositing some money. The motive behind the attack was not clear.

Police said Lohani has been admitted to the Chabahil-based Medicare Hospital.
