KATHMANDU: Police said four persons were arrested in possession of tiger skin from Sandhara of KMC-6, on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, police teams deployed from Metropolitan Police Sector, Kapan and Metropolitan Crime Branch, Bouddha apprehended 27-year-old Shyam Karki of Dashrathchand Municipality-6 in Baitadi district along with three others.

According to police, they were all arrested from the rented room of Shyam Karki. Police also recovered tiger's skin from the rented room in the area.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
