KATHMANDU: Four members of the Mt Manaslu-2006 Light Expedition team have successfully scaled the 8,163-metre high Mt Manaslu from the classical Japanese route on different dates from September 30 to October 3. The successful climbers are Thomas Strausz, 37, of Austria and Czech nationals Frantisek Kolar, 41, Pavel Matousek, 49, and Zuzana Hofmannova, 47, according to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. Pavel Matousek had led the 10-member team.
