Youth Talent Quest (YTQ) is an annual event organised by PATA Nepal Chapter as part of its engagement with Young Tourism Professionals (YTPs) that provides a platform for students from PATA Nepal Chapter member colleges to compete and showcase their talents, knowledge, and skills. It aims to uncover talented young tourism professionals, further empower them with the necessary training, involvement, and exposure to PATA Nepal Chapter programmes and activities, and to engage them in a best possible way to carve a successful future, further states the organisation.

This year, PATA Nepal Chapter introduced five key competitions under PATA YTQ 2021 - Public Speaking Competition, Tourism & Hospitality Quiz, PATA Futsal Tournament, Content Writing Competition, and YTP Chefs Competition.

YTQ 2021 kicked off with Public Speaking Competition on April 16 at GATE College, Mandikhatar. The Tourism & Hospitality Quiz was held on April 17 at Mid-Valley Int'l College. Likewise, the Content Writing Competition was held on April 18 at GCI college. The Futsal Tournament was organised under YTQ 2021 on April 19.

Meanwhile, according to the organisers, owing to the increasing COVID-19 cases and in compliance with the recent government decision, it has been decided to postpone the YTP Chefs Competition, which was supposed to be held on April 24 under the theme "Exploring Authentic Nepali Cuisine".
