Galaxy forms talks team

KATHMANDU: Galaxy Public School (GPS), which has been shut since November 1, has formed a talks team to sort out the problems between the school management and teachers.

Agitating teachers and other staff have demanded a hike in salary and perks they draw from the school.

Gita Rana, Principal, GPS, said that the school had formed a 18-member talks team.

She said that the talks team would sit for a dialogue on Saturday and hoped early resumption of classes.

According to Rana, GPS has 305 teachers and employees and 2,400 students.
