GMSA holds annual meeting
Kathmandu, September 5
Ganesh Man Singh Academy held its 16th annual general meeting today.
GMSA secretary Bhupendra Basnet presented a paper on how the academy would carry out its activities in future. He said the academy would organize programmes that would help institutionalise democracy, facilitate social transformation, promote good governance and increase youth participation in entrepreneurship.
Basnet also said that the office bearers of the academy would try their best to develop the institution as a think tank.
On the occasion General Secretary of the academy Renuka Joshi presented the organisation’s annual report. She said that the academy would carry out its future activities as per its calendar of events.
During the AGM, chair of the academy Nabindra Raj Joshee felicitated eight individuals — Bekha Ratna Shakya, Kedar Bhakta Mathema, Bairagi Kaila, Durga Lal Shrestha, Durga Prasad Bhandari, Maiya Devi Shrestha, Prayag Raj Singh Suwal and Hari Ram Joshee — for their contribution to their respective fields.
