NRB fixes buying rate at Rs 144.88

The US dollar reached an all-time high against the Nepali rupee on Tuesday, according to the Nepal Rastra Bank.
The central bank fixed the buying rate of one US dollar at Rs 144.88 and the selling rate at Rs 145.48 for the day.
The European euro was priced at Rs 170.20 for buying and Rs 170.90 for selling, while the UK pound sterling stood at Rs 193.95 (buying) and Rs 194.75 (selling). The Swiss franc was traded at Rs 182 (buying) and Rs 182.75 (selling).
Similarly, the Australian dollar was fixed at Rs 96.29 for buying and Rs 96.69 for selling, while 10 Japanese yen was traded at Rs 9.35 (buying) and Rs 9.39 (selling). The Chinese yuan was priced at Rs 20.56 (buying) and Rs 20.64 (selling).
