Lalitpur, February 23:

The Lalitpur Sub-branch of the Valley Crime Investigation Branch (VCIB) has recently nabbed three persons on charge of forging land ownership certificates.

Bibek Lama, 26, of Manikhel of Lalitpur, Dev Manandhar, 33, of Pyang Gaon of Chapagaon and Bhim Lama, 36 of Manikhel-7 were arrested on Tuesday. Dev and Bhim were arrested after the arrest of Bibek with the help of informants along with a forged land ownership certificate and three photocopies of citizenship papers last Tuesday.

Police said they all have accepted their crime adding that they also helped police to find the hidden letter pad of the Ministry of Land Reforms, stamps of the Lalitpur District Land Revenue Office and Land Revenue Officer.

The three have been sent to the Lalitpur District Police Office for the necessary action.
