Gautam hails APF

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bamdev Gautam on Sunday said the Armed Police Force has succeeded in becoming a dependable security agency in a short period of time.

Inaugurating the Command and Staff Course of APF at its headquarters in Halchowk, he stated, “There is a growing demand for mobilisation of APF personnel due to its excellent performance. It has made a significant contribution to maintaining law and order in the country.” The APF had recently set up its Command and Staff College in Sano Gaucharan on Friday.

Inspector General of APF Koshraj Onta expressed confidence that the Staff College would make the paramilitary force more professional.
