The price of gold in the domestic market fell by Rs 2,600 per tola on Monday, ending a brief period of stability.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold, which had remained unchanged at Rs 294,000 per tola since April 2, declined to Rs 291,400 per tola.
Silver price also dropped, falling by Rs 50 per tola. The metal, which was traded at Rs 2,830 per tola on Sunday, decreased to Rs 2,780 per tola on Monday.
