The police at Thankot police check post seized two kilogrammes of gold from Lal Babu Sah, a resident of Birgunj sub-metropolitan city-15, today. Sah, who was coming to the valley on a bus was trying to smuggle the gold into the valley by concealing it in his shoes. "Sah may not be a drug peddler himself but an accomplice," police inspector Deepak Neupaney said. Sah and the gold have been sent to customs department, police said.
