Govt committed to control black marketing: PM

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the government was committed to control black marketing.

The government would not tolerate shortage of fuel and cooking gas anymore, the Prime Minister said while receiving a memorandum submitted by various students unions on Saturday, read a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Secretariat today.

The Prime Minister said that he has been holding discussions with the concerned authorities to control the black marketing.

Though the post-earthquake reconstruction works were challenging, PM Oli said that the government would not run away from carrying out its responsibilities, the statement read.

The Prime Minister expressed his hope that the government would be able to provide shelters to the earthquake victims before the monsoon season begins.
