The counting of votes cast under the proportional representation (PR) system for the House of Representatives (HoR) election is currently underway.

As of 3:00 pm today, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), which has so far won 124 seats, is leading the PR vote count by a wide margin.

Out of a total of 908,400 votes counted so far, the party has secured 439,035 votes.

Similarly, the Nepali Congress (NC) has received 147,796 votes, while the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) (UML) has garnered 231,789 votes. The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has obtained 656,941 votes.

The Shram Sanskriti Party has secured 313,489 votes, while the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has received 294,355 votes.

According to updates from the Election Commission of Nepal, the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal has secured 140,237 votes, the Rastriya Pariwartan Party 137,245 votes, and the Janamat Party 62,460 votes.

Likewise, the Rastriya Mukti Party Nepal, the Janata Samajbadi Party, and the Nagarik Unmukti Party have each secured 50,051 votes.

In the direct (first-past-the-post) electoral system, the Nepali Congress has won 17 seats, the UML seven, the NCP seven, the Shram Sanskriti Party three, while the RPP and an independent candidate have secured one seat each.

According to the latest vote counts, the RSP, NC and UML are leading in one constituency each: the RSP in Gorkha-1, the NC in Ilam-1 and the UML in Sankhuwasabha-1.
