KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli said that the government is committed to unity, development and prosperity of the country.

Speaking at a programme organised at the party's central office in Dhumbarahi on the occasion of first death anniversary of party leader Ramnath Dhakal, Prime Minister Oli said that he would neglect rumours being spread against the government.

"The government is ready to resolve genuine issues, but it will not forgive those who try to get benefits by creating unnecessary problems," he said.

Remembering the contribution of late leader Dhakal, PM Oli said that he was active, dynamic, patriotic, influential and logical one who had contributed a lot for the party. He further said that the party lost such an influential leader.
