KATHMANDU: The government has decided to give a public holiday in Province No. 1, 5 and 7 on June 28.

The second phase of local level elections is taking place in these provinces on June 28.

The Ministry of Home Affairs stated this in a notice it issued today.

It has also announced holiday for all the educational institutions in the three provinces for four days from June 25 to 28.
