Gun shots in Kamaladi, 3 Indian nationals held

KATHMANDU: Police said gun shots were fired at a pub in Heritage Plaza near Kamaladi, Kathmandu on Wednesday evening.

Talking to THT Online over the phone, Police Commissioner AIGP Jaya Bahadur Chand confirmed the incident.

He further said three Indian nationals were apprehended along with an automatic pistol and 51 rounds of bullets from them.

Police upon reaching the incident site, nabbed the suspects Arbind Singh, Jasbir Singh and Devendra Singh who were fleeing after the incident. The trio have been detained at the Metropolitan Police Circle Kamalpokhari.

No human casualty has been reported.

It is yet to ascertain the motive behind the incident. Meanwhile, the investigation into the case is underway, said police.
