Gunmen shoot at Indian at Bagdol

Lalitpur, June 25:

A group of two unidentified persons today shot at an Indian national Prabin Agrawal, 22, at Bagdol, police said.

The police said that Agrawal was sitting at the store of the SS Marketing at Bagdol when the two persons came on a motorcycle and opened fire at him. Agrawal sustained injury on the right side of his stomach and is undergoing treatment at Patan Hospital.

The gunmen shot at Prabin when he said he was the owner of the store, police said. Shushil Singal, owner and Prabin’s uncle, said he was not in the office when the incident took place.

SP Madhav Nepal at the Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur, said that a few days ago they had received a complaint that Singal’s son was threatened by unidentified persons when the company refused to give them donation. Nepal also said that the police seized a motorcycle (Ba 4 Pa 2788) used by gunmen, from Dhobikhola.

Meanwhile, at Siphal, an unidentified person was found shot at. He is undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital. “We are yet to identify him,” DSP Mahesh Bikram Shah at Bouddha Metropolitan Police Circle, said.
