Tony Hangen’s photo exhibition concludes
KATHMANDU: The exhibition of photos taken by Swiss geologist Toni Hagen featuring Nepali society concluded in the capital on Sunday.
As many as 54 photos showing Nepali society around 1950s were on display at the exhibition.
The exhibition of photos taken, and the cameras used by the widest traveller to Nepal, Hagen, continued for three days at Nepal Tourism Board.
Decorated with the ‘Gorkha Dakshin Bahu’ in 1953, Hagen has contributed to making Nepal known across the globe through photos of Nepali society he took during his stay here and his writings about Nepal.
Besides, he has also explored Nepal’s social, cultural and religious structures during his 12-year stay in Nepal.
