KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 27
The hearing on the rape case against cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has been extended to Thursday.
This decision follows a hearing conducted at the District Court in Kathmandu on Wednesday that did not conclude.
The hearing began on December 25 at the bench of Justice Shishir Raj Dhakal and was rescheduled for Wednesday after the court remained closed due to a public holiday on Monday and Tuesday.
Earlier, the District Court in Kathmandu had remanded Sandeep to custody for investigation, while the High Court in Patan had ordered his release on bail of two million rupees.
