Hold peace talks in Lumbini: Buddhists

Buddhist leaders today demanded that the ongoing peace talks between the government and the Maoists be held in Lumbini to add a touch of spirituality for long-lasting result.
Talking to media persons, Audrey Emiko Kitagawa, the Hawaii-based “divine mother”, today said liberation from ignorance, mental conflicts and ego would lead to fruitful results of the peace talks.
“War is a big business worldwide, where a few people make profit but cause suffering to millions,”
Kitagawa said.
Dr Lam, a Buddhist monk from Vietnam, today said peace talks should be held at the Lumbini garden.
