Home Minister at TIA to ensure smooth relief supply

KATHMANDU: Minister for Home Affairs Janardan Sharma on Tuesday visited the Tribhuvan International Airport to inquire about the relief supplies being sent to the flood-hit areas.

Minister Sharma visited the storage depot area at the TIA and instructed the authorities to make the relief distribution effective and keep the daily goods in priority.

The Ministry had been receiving complaints regarding disproportionate distribution of relief packages to Rautahat, Parsa and Saptari among other floods and landslides hit districts.

Meanwhile, a team of the government officials led by Home Minister Sharma had carried out onsite visit of the districts hit by flooding and landslides on Sunday and Monday.
